Topiary progress report
Only the back-stitch to go on this tree, and I’ll be half-way to finishing the entire picture (there’s four topiary trees in total). Currently reading: Palm Prints by Fiona Kidman

Phase 2 complete: (Photos taken by Lucy-Jane) Yes, the lights do flash on and off.
Visitors from both ends of the islands
No, I haven’t disappeared off the face of the earth, I’ve just been sick. When will I ever learn that going to a Bookcrossing convention and then coming home and going straight back to work is not a good idea (FutureCat, write 100 times: “I must always plan a holiday to recover from my holiday”)….
Re-prioritising my life
Back at work this week after a much-needed break, during which I had time to re-think a few priorities. It’s finally starting to occur to me that I’ve got too many commitments (what with work and study and union activism and bookcrossing and ESOL-HT…) and I’m not really coping with them all as well as…
More bookmarks
Mum posted up the bookmarks I’d left behind at her place (because they hadn’t properly dried yet) when we were down there: I call them my crazy cat ladies with bling (except you can’t really see the bling in the scan – they’ve got glittery and jewelled accessories). That’s a lovely picture of him. I’m glad I got to see him one last time recently (and see him enjoying Thai food!).

I know you will miss your furry friend….
Such a lovely cat. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss
(((((hugs)))))
So sad to hear you have lost your beautiful boy. I had to go thru the same process with two of mine, both at 14 as well, one to diabetes, one to cancer. I’m grateful that my Dexter, at 14, is the picture of health despite being a little porkchop. I’m sure you have many sweet memories of Ming and it is nice that the roses will remind you of him. Take care.
