I'm on holiday!
Well, it’s the 22nd, and we’re still here. And more importantly, I’m on holiday for the next 4 weeks! (Yes, I know I already took a 4-week holiday in April, but due to the weird way HR calculated my leave over the two jobs I’ve been doing, I’m still owed a tonne of leave). We’re…
Goodbye Saffy
Just back from the vet’s. Saffy has been weakening for the last couple of weeks, and last night she took a turn for the worse, so we had her put to sleep this morning. Goodbye Saffy. I’ll write more later. ^ ^00=+=^
Here be elephant
I’ve been busy sewing today, making a Christmas present for Niece#1. A few weeks ago Jenny and I went fabric shopping, theoretically to buy material for a dress she wanted to make, but of course I couldn’t resist browsing the pretties myself, which gave me the idea to make Niece#1 a patchwork elephant like the…
Bookring week
Did I say this was the week for bookrings? Another one arrived today: Choke by Chuck Palahniuk (this is completely unrelated to the Invisible Monsters bookring that arrived last week – it’s pure coincidence that two Palahniuk books turned up so close together). That’s a lovely picture of him. I’m glad I got to see him one last time recently (and see him enjoying Thai food!).

I know you will miss your furry friend….
Such a lovely cat. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss
(((((hugs)))))
So sad to hear you have lost your beautiful boy. I had to go thru the same process with two of mine, both at 14 as well, one to diabetes, one to cancer. I’m grateful that my Dexter, at 14, is the picture of health despite being a little porkchop. I’m sure you have many sweet memories of Ming and it is nice that the roses will remind you of him. Take care.
