Reporting in from Alexandra
Well, we’ve made it safely as far as Alexandra – we drove down from Christchurch yesterday, and spent today exploring Queenstown, Wanaka and the surrounding area. Tomorrow we’re off to Te Anau and then on to Milford. So far I haven’t managed to get us lost 🙂 Photos and a full report when I get…
In praise of MrPloppy
Have I mentioned lately just how wonderful MrPloppy is? I’ve been struggling all week to write an assignment for my linguistics course that’s due tomorrow, and I just couldn’t get my head round it. By this afternoon I was in total panic mode – the more I stared at it the less sense it was…
Reporting in (and a couple of NoNos)
Well, we’re back from our trip down south, have covered an unfeasible number of kilometres in the last three days, successfully (finally) accomplished our mission of delivering the hug box to Otakuu, and generally had a great (but exhausting) time. I’ve got hundreds of photos (literally – I had to buy a new memory card…
Look what just arrived
Thanks, Yetzirah, it’s absolutely gorgeous!
Back to work, take two

That’s a lovely picture of him. I’m glad I got to see him one last time recently (and see him enjoying Thai food!).

I know you will miss your furry friend….
Such a lovely cat. I am sorry for your loss.
Jami
I am so sorry for your loss
(((((hugs)))))
So sad to hear you have lost your beautiful boy. I had to go thru the same process with two of mine, both at 14 as well, one to diabetes, one to cancer. I’m grateful that my Dexter, at 14, is the picture of health despite being a little porkchop. I’m sure you have many sweet memories of Ming and it is nice that the roses will remind you of him. Take care.
