Goodbye Saffy
Just back from the vet’s. Saffy has been weakening for the last couple of weeks, and last night she took a turn for the worse, so we had her put to sleep this morning. Goodbye Saffy. I’ll write more later. ^ ^00=+=^

Putting things in perspective
This morning, MrPloppy got a phone call from the daughter of a friend of ours, letting us know he’s in hospital with leukaemia. Then tonight I went to visit my ESOL student, and she told me that not only was the taxi driver who was murdered recently a friend of theirs (not surprising, really, given…
Meetup report and stuff
First of all, for Sherlockfan, who asked if my new enthusiasm for lace would mean the end of my cross-stitch projects: No, of course not! When have I ever let a little thing like having only so many hours in a day stop me having multiple projects on the go at once? The above is…

That’s a lovely picture of him. I’m glad I got to see him one last time recently (and see him enjoying Thai food!).

I know you will miss your furry friend….
Such a lovely cat. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss
(((((hugs)))))
So sad to hear you have lost your beautiful boy. I had to go thru the same process with two of mine, both at 14 as well, one to diabetes, one to cancer. I’m grateful that my Dexter, at 14, is the picture of health despite being a little porkchop. I’m sure you have many sweet memories of Ming and it is nice that the roses will remind you of him. Take care.
