A private entry to show off a bit of embroidery that won’t be able to be made public until February: [album 128913 091205cackles.jpg] Cackleberry is one of the lovely Brisbane bookcrossers I met when I was over there for the ABC convention. Last week his wife, jawin, sent me the following email: Hello FutureCat, I…
For Yetzirah
I think this is the plate in the photo. From memory it came out of a bargain bin of assorted loose crockery at the Warehouse (a very cheap chain kind of similar to Walmart), and doesn’t have anything as sophisticated as a maker’s mark – all it says on the bottom is “Made in China”….
Just a quick update
to say I’m still alive (don’t worry Mum, it was just a cold, I wasn’t actually dying of pneumonia :-)), I’m in Maryland at Buffra’s parents’ place, and we’re about to hit the road on our American Road Trip. Brad Pitt here we come! 😉 Chicago was great, Ottawa was great, and the bits of…
Yesterday and tomorrow
I was happily writing that last entry and then noticed the time and had to race off to finish getting ready for work. So, now that I’m safely at work, and before my boss comes in and wants me to actually do some work, here’s part two: It was the Chick Flicks film night last…

That’s a lovely picture of him. I’m glad I got to see him one last time recently (and see him enjoying Thai food!).

I know you will miss your furry friend….
Such a lovely cat. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss
(((((hugs)))))
So sad to hear you have lost your beautiful boy. I had to go thru the same process with two of mine, both at 14 as well, one to diabetes, one to cancer. I’m grateful that my Dexter, at 14, is the picture of health despite being a little porkchop. I’m sure you have many sweet memories of Ming and it is nice that the roses will remind you of him. Take care.
