Sewing bags and knights
While sewing the handles for the goody bags the other day, I realised that sewing all 40-odd bags was going to take more cotton than the one roll I’d bought. So, as MrPloppy had to go into town yesterday anyway, I asked him to pop into Ballantynes’ craft department and pick me up some more….

Hotdesking
Life continues to be strange. The horrifying pictures from Japan make our earthquake seem so minor, which in a way is reassuring – it could have been so much worse – but also kind of scary – it could have been so much worse! Just as after September, now that the initial drama has died…
Finished!
Phew! Just in time! MrPloppy is going to take it in to town to the framers tomorrow, and hopefully they’ll be able to get it all stretched and framed by the end of next week. He’s in a bit of a panic because I’ve left the final decisions on the mat colour and frame up…
