Flight plans
ot my flights all booked for going up to Wellington next month. After having it pointed out to me that the Friday of that week is a holiday (for Christchurch, anyway – it’s Show Day), I decided I would stay up there for a few days after all, because I’ll only have to take leave on the Thursday. So I’m flying up on the Wednesday and back on the Saturday afternoon. Now I’ve just got to find somewhere to stay (I’ll probably just book in to the YHA – normally I’d see if Edwardstreet had a bed for me, but the word from those who follow Facebook is that she probably won’t be wanting visitors around that time, so rather than put her on the spot by asking I’ll just stay at the hostel), and someone to feed the cat.
Oh yeah, and the little matter of writing an acceptance speech, just in case…
